History & Family

In 2012, The Tucker family were lucky to purchase a vineyard in East Paso Robles, an area known for its wine grapes in Central California.

Shortly after, their son, Andrew, moved to the farm following his completion of college. He took on the industry by storm, falling in love with both the wine-making process and the passion of the local wine community.

Over ten years, Andrew worked for various well known wineries and eventually became the Cellar Master for West Paso winery, Alta Colina. All the while, he also farmed his familys’ vineyard. Growing Zinfandel and Petite Sirah grapes, selling them to various local wineries.

Truly Farm to Table

Then came the day when Andrew wanted to make his own wine. He sourced grapes from local vineyards, and also purchased the grapes from his own family’s vineyard to make the blends extra special. Stoic was born.
